When my 6 yr old son gets overtired, bored or hungry and he gets angry, he is prone to hitting or namecalling. I am not sure what an appropriate response is. If I get him to eat and run around or jog in place, it helps him stabilize and then he can apologize. What would you do if your child hit his sibling or parent or said something inappropriate?
