i just moved to tokyo, we finally found a house but furniture is too expensive, do you know any good and fast way to buy quality furniture for good price, something better than ikea quality?thanks

There used to be a place in palette plaza (daiba) first floor I haven't been there in a while and I can't remember the name. If your not far from daiba it might be worth a visit. If you find something can you post in the tokyo practical forum. I found asia xpat really useful in Hong Kong but the tokyo site seams rarely used. The more Tokyo posts there are the more ppl will visit it and maybe it will perpetuate.

there's a weekly magazine called "Metropolise" just like HK magazine, you can buy 2nd hand furniture from other expats who are leaving Japan.
