Marriage here in HK

Hi


Is there anyway that me and my boyfriend can get married here in HK tbis week . We plan to do it at marriage registry and i am leaving HK on saturday and wont be back for 2 months.


Any input are very much appreciated

Don't think so. Before getting married you have to register your intention - and I think that involves something like 3 months' notice regardless of whether you get married in one of the registry offices, one of the other licensed locations (e.g. church - not any church, mind you, as the specific premises still needs to be licensed - or one of the recently-opened wedding 'chapels'), or anywhere else for which you have obtained permission. You must give notice of marriage first and the notice must be posted for at least 15 days before a marriage can take place - if no objection is received after the period of 15 clear days, the marriage may take place. This applies whether you marry in a registry or with a civil celebrant.

yeah...the procedure here is till complicated. Flying to Bali and get it done in a fast but very romantic way....

But Bali is only for religious ceremonies and not for folks without an imaginary friend. Plus you have to get a translation of the certificate. Of course that requirement is for legal marriages only, it's possible to have lovely, romantic non-legal ceremonies.
