Hi, we're going to stay in HK for 6-8 months. I have 2 sons, one 3 years old and another 7 month old.
Any recommendations for a good/hygienic Nursery/Montessori school near Chai Wan/Quarry Bay/TaikooShing? Any good legal part-time maid suggestions? Should we rent furnished or unfurnished apartments? Any playgroups or fellow mommies around? Would appreciate any advice, especially related to kids.

HK has loads of wonderful things to do with kids, so don't worry there, the main problem is that they are very expensive. A really good option is Baby Buddies which I beleive is www.letter-land.com.hk (not sure if that is a hyphen or dash. Anyhow you can find their ads on dollarsaver.com.hk They are really good for this age and based in Tin Hau (next stop over from Quarry Bay). 6 months is a very short stay in HK and it could make life a little difficult. send me a PM if you want more info.

Hi jane9898, yes, i will do so, thanks. we'll be staying at island resort, i think. as for the maid/domestic help issue, will take your considerations into account, Chicken! will prob just do whatever i can initially, kids more important.
