hi i tried replying to my own linke (parkview/maid) but it keeps telling me its a closed object??? wierd links. anyways i've learnt alot from just reading as many posts/messages as i can. its definitely helped.
i think i've figured out the maid issue - will see how it goes once i've moved in!
i have another small question. is there a local/wet market near causeway bay/happy valley where i can get fresh fish/ prawns/ veggies? i find the pns ones not that attractive. cheap would be good too but baby steps i guess.

2 minutes walk from Times Square, you can try the street market: turn your back to Times Square, turn to the left walk along the cinema towards the highway flyover, you can cross under it, the market is right the other side.

The Happy Valley indoor market has a good selection.
The Wan Chai market street market has good fish/seafood.
In Central there is Graham Street - more for fruit and veg than fish.
Causeway Bay as mentioned above.
Or you could go the other direction to Aberdeen and there is a great wet market (in a building) for fruit veg and fish.
Once you get the maid thing resolved, you can show the maid what you like to buy and she can do the shopping for you too.

There is also the indoor Causeway Bay market on Electric Road (in Tin Hau) with meat, fish, veggie and live poultry vendors. I think between the combination of the indoor wet market and some of the street market vendors around that area, you'll find what you want. :)
