I am someone who has wanted to learn more about car / auto mechanics. Just the basics to begin with. Does anyone know of any ENGLISH courses in Hong Kong that give intro to basic auto mechanics?
Any tips greatly appreciated.

An English-speaking friend once joined a DCH motor club basic car maintenance course. You can call them to see if their course if what you need:

Doesn' the HKAA still run basic maintenance courses? And the Vocational Training Council used to do full time mechanics courses. They used to be in English, but not sure if they still are.

St Kilda, nothings 'so hard' about reading a handbook on a car, but when i know naff all about something i've just spent a lot of money on, what's so bad about wanting to learn more from a professional? The HKAA do a course costing about $600. Don't demean me for wanting to know more.
Oh and by the way, i make mean cakes.

If you can set it up then i would join.
How about contacting one of the better known dealers or an expat dealership like Expat Motors or European Motors (will i be banned for stating company names?).
