the new BKK airport just shut off all internet

connections as of 1Jan 2007. Now one must pay

for wi-fi. Anyone else experience this problem.

Also LAN connections must have a password.

Has anyone wandered near the business class lounges and looked for open connections? Those folks probably are not very supportive of having to figure out how to get and use a password.

Yes, this is a good trick.

nexttime I'll try and catch the extra waves.

At the end of this month I will have a 4hr. layover

in BKK. Wish all airports could be as good as HKG.

Free wi-fi everywhere.
