does anyone know where to go to hire or get 70's clothes. have a party to go to an getting desperate. don't really want to have anything made.

Central would be your best bet. Go up Pottinger street to the fancy dress shop on the right hand side. There you'll be able to get afros, long wigs, false eyelashes and large Jackie O glasses. Across form there, the little alleyway sells large medallions, chest wigs (if you're male!) and other items. Then, back down from there and going down The Lanes (sorry, can't remember which one!) you'll find a shop at the bottom left hand side that sells flares, glittery gear and 70s glam odds and sods.....good luck!
