My sister calls me from Australia on cheap phone cards. Think it is about AUD$20 for around 300 minutes. She buys them at newsagents run by Chinese - they seem to know the best providers.

Saikungo, when you go down to Oz and look for the phone cards dasia mentioned remember to tell the newsagent what country your kids want to call. Seems some cards are better than others depending on the destination.
My friends also use the cards to call us and sometimes have two different providers because depending on 'traffic' at the time some are better than others.

I purchase them in Oz from 7 Elevens. Remember to say that you want the cheapest one for calling HK as they carry various cards. I also usually buy two different ones for exactly the same reason as stated above...ie. varying levels of quality depending on "traffic".
