Don't mean to be rude, but there was a post only about a month ago asking the same thing and lots of people replied giving do's and dont's.
Take a look, it may be quicker.

It depends on how traditional the family is. Traditionally the colors to avoid are black, white, green and blue but people nowadays don't seem to be too bothered anymore.

I was just at a modern "traditional" wedding on the mainland last week (I'm a friend of the bride's sister). When I asked I was told not to wear black, that red would be ok, colorful and definitely comfortable would be best. A number of the older women were in shades of purple, the sisters of the bride were in pink, but I did see fair number of people in black slacks/skirts/trousers, for example the photographer and the hairdresser/make-up lady who followed the bride around all day. No one was in red but the bride when she was in traditional dress. And most people were very casual, including the brother of the bride who was in jeans and a t-shirt with a khaki green army fatigues type of shirt over that . . and he had quite a bit to do in the different traditional ceremonies. So as turtle1 said, it basically comes down to how traditional the family is.
