I found a Fu Wing Co, Continental Mansions, Northpoint and they have a website at www.yp.com.hk/fuwingco tel 2578 6921 Shop L, G/F, 294 King's Road, Norhtpoint...if you go and it is any good can you report back :). Might stock up if we buy a holiday home.

I was in Shenzhen the other day and paid HKD550 for one queen and one double sheet set (fitted sheet, duvet + 2 pillow case, and bought 2 additional pillow cases).
The shop is on the ground floor near Fairwood. They have plain cotton, solids, stripes and some nice ones with dainty embroidery. Bargain hard, first price they quoted was 650/set

Why bother going all the way to Shenzen ? I get all my high quality bed linen from Far East Linen in Stanley ( G/F, 9B Stanley Main Street). They can do any size custom made with cheaper 100% cotton or Egyptian cotton etc. Prices are very reasonable ( from $75 for pillow case, from $ 170 for sheets etc.). Ask for Agnes. Friendly and efficient service. Shop has been there for 15+ years.

annebin ... be careful buying the ready-made sets. I've been caught-out with local-sized sets which are narrower and shorter than North American sized beds. Just know your sizes.

Thanks K8sMum, my beds are HK-sized, and they both fit well. I have old sheets which I need to clip in the corners bec they are too big although sizing is standard.
