Hi, we live in the clearwater bay area and our 10 year old son is interested in going horse riding. Can anyone advise the nearest or best horseriding club to join. Many thanks

Public riding schools (BHS approved establishments) in HK.

I went to Beas River Club, they have great facilities there.

Beas River is for Jockey Club Members and sadly its services are not available to the public.

I had looked at the Beas River club and realised that it is for Jockey CLub members only. There is a riding club at Tuen Mun, not to sure how far away it is. Somebody has also mentioned about HK Equestrian Centre!! Thanks for all your help

Being a horse rider myself, I would go for Tuen Mun Riding School, if you are not a Jockey Club Member. You used to be able to join the Jockey Club as a racing member and add a country memebership on (Beas River), rather than a full membership - not sure if they still do this though.

Lo Wu is great too - especially fgor kids as it's very hands on - but they are closing / relocating as the prison grounds where they are currently on is not renewing their lease (or so I heard).
