What is HK Practical Driving License Test Like?

There are several threads on how to get your HK driving license or get foreign licenses converted...but I would like to find out how hard the actual practical test in HK is for getting a new license? How long is the test? Is it better to take the test on the Hong Kong side or the Kowloon side? What is the area like arond Happy Valley where they conduct the test? Is it really hard to pass or relatively easy as long as you don't make a fatal error? Any insights from persons who have done the practical driving test would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
