I noticed my 17 month old daughter is starting to want to sleep on a pillow. Will any baby pillow do the job or is there a "special" one you would recommend eg anti-sweat? anti-dustmites (my daughter has many allergies)? There are so many in the market I am overwhelmed.
Also my daughter is the 360-rotation type of sleeper would introducing a pillow be my worst nightmare in that I have to re-locate it for her throughout the night?

Hi mummybee1!
My daughter started sleeping on the Chicco pillow when she was about 18 months. You're right, they start wanting a "pillow" around this age, I didn't provide one for her, she slept on a bunch of cushions on the sofa, or she bring a bunch of clothes to her bed to use as a pillow... I figured she wanted a pillow.
The Chicco one is good, not too thick, and has holes in it, and if you wash the pillow cases every 2 days, should be alright about the allergies and mites and stuff.
Then when she turned just past 2 years old, she wanted a HIGHER pillow.... she likes MINE! Of course it's too high for her, so I found the one from Sinomax, it has different levels you can adjust according to your child's growth. But the foam can make your child's head sweat more.
The one from Suzuran also is good. My daughter prefers the Sinomax one b/c it has the neck support.

Your daugther reminds me so much of mine, Kate. She heaped up all her 4 bolsters (one at each corner of the bed) to make a pillow. When she started to fight for my suzuran pillow, that was it - time to get her own...
