Got a salary review in afternoon; anyone have some pointers or info on inflation, and the general increases expected in Hong Kong ?.

a lot of the recruitment agents have interesting salary review tables online, if that is any help. Really it is very dependent on your industry.

The most recent published statistics are for the 12 months ended Sept 2006. The average annual wage increase in HK over that period was 2.2%, but that masks differences according to industrial sectors.
Of course, the statistics never fully capture what's happening to the highly paid (say US$250,000+) executives who get remunerated in less transparent ways (offshore share options, etc). See
