Did you already got the letter from your landlord, he should give you 2 months notice. If not, you may write him and ask him frnakly if you can come up to a mutual agreement ?

1) Much of what has been posted on this thread is (unintentionally) misleading.
2) There are two fundamentally different regimes, depending whether your lease was signed before or after 2004. The new regime removed security of tenure.
3) However, unless your tenancy agreement was "stamped" within one month of signing (and very few agreements are stamped at all in HK, except company leases), then neither party can use it to justify their position in court. This effectively means the tenant has the upper hand, as the landlord will find it hard to evict you (using lawful means, anyway) as long as you pay rent. See http://www.ird.gov.hk/eng/tax/sdu.htm#07
4) The direct answer to your question ("Where can I get info?") is http://www.rvd.gov.hk/en/doc/SummaryGuide-e.pdf
5)You may be surprised how cheap small-time lawyers are in HK relative to the rest of the world. You could get professional legal advice and follow-through on this for the price of a few days' rent. If I were you, I would do that.
