I am stopping by Singapore for one night and I have one afternoon and evening to visit the city so I would like to find an hotel in the center. Could someone recommend me a nice and reasonable hotel in the center? Thanks

1. Orchard Hotel ****(Orchard Rd) - 5 mins walk to MRT. The night safari bus pick/drop passengers right in front of hotel.
2. Hotel Phoenix *** - right in Orchard Rd, next to MRT.
Both about SGD200 per nite, depends on whether peak season or not.
3. RELC - budget hotel , next to Shangrila Hotel, mostly occupied by teaching profession folks,clean,hotel folks are helpful, 1 cafe and 1 chinese restaurant. Hotel can call taxi easily when you want to go out. Breakfast basic, so you may want to take a 5 mins walk to Shangrila hotel to eat, a short taxi ride to Orchard Rd. About SGD100-120 per nite.
