I've heard there's a medicinal nail polish which tastes really awful. It's supposed to stop you from biting your nails once you put the polish on.

I think you have to get it from a doctor though.

Many years ago I used Stop n Grow - think it was made by Sally Hansen in the UK. Its disgusting and soon made me stop. I now keep acrylic nails on and I now have wonderful nails all the time.
