Matrix Shampoo & Conditioner

Does anyone know where I can find Matrix brand shampoos and conditioners in Hong Kong?

I have used the Biolage system (colour care shampoo and detangling solution) for about 10 years or more. I have recently just tried their new Sleek Look range which I am also quite pleased with. I have tried other brands over the years but always revert back to my ol favourite.


If I can't find it I have a few friends coming to visit this year and guess what they'll be bringing me!!!

well I think this is a common problem espacially with western hair. The genes are usually the main problem for men( hormons ). another problem can also be lack of Vitamins that also affects the scalp. for the dandruffs it can be a skin problem or the shampoo aswell. Since I'm only a hairdresser and not a doctor I can only give you some infos what I know so far by experience.

But maybe he should try it with some moisture shampoo. because using a shampoo agains greasy hair etc. can also lead to the effect of more oily hair because the scalp thinks it needs to produce more oil after drying it out with the shampoo.

But to make it really sure I would suggest to see a doctor if it's not gettin better after a shampoo change.

The problem with all the Phyto Programs ( for many brands ) is that those things only work external and can only activate the roots a little because you massage it in. But the main thing that is responsible for hairgrowth are the hormons and the only thing to stop it would be taking female hormons...well an the side effects are not always very popular >_<


I don't think it's really worth to buy because you might only be able to delay the hairfall maybe 30% but can't stopp it.

check Temple Street (Kowloon side), there are a couple of shops selling everything for hair salons.

It's possible to get Biolage and Sleek by Matrix in Hong Kong. There's a hair products supply shop on the corner of Lyndhurst and Wellington in Cetral which has both.

Viva Hair Treatment Spa at 50C Stanley Street in Central carries Matrix shampoo and conditioner. They do not, however, carry their hairspray line though, so if anyone knows where I can pick up the Amplify hairspray, I'd appreciate the tip.
