Hi

Can anyone who has been to Krabi please help - I'm flying into Krabi airport but have heard some not too great things about Krabi or Railey? saying very busy not idealic - so does anyone have any recs of where to go? I am really not a resort based person - so I want to stay somewhere thats nice but places to go and see etc.

Hi,

Krabi town itself isn't attractive, but the surrounding areas are.Ao Nang is an attractive beach with some nice accommodation.From here you can take long tailed boats to some really beautiful places e.g. Poda Island
