been looking at preschools and struck by these two in particular which I agree are very differnt! Any parents out there who have experience of either. Also, the schools themselves wont give a clear outline of where most of the students end up. How is montessori viewed by international and ESF schools? Would it be better to opt for traditional nursery???

I can only comment on the Montessori, as that is where my child is. We transferred there, because he hated a traditional kindergarten. He is thriving there, races in the door and is happy and stimulated on leaving.

Dear Shahirakk,

My kids also go to Montessori Tai Tam and we are very impressed by how the school is run and the fact that the school is accredited by Montessori International London. The principal there has a pie chart of where children go after being at Montessori and am surprised if this information was not shared with you. They have a very good rapport with the international schools and all ESF schools and feel it would be better for you to opt for Montessori. The quality of education there is superb.

Starbunny and Xmasiscoming, I would love to be able to correspond with you personally. How old are your children? what is the teaching like? What was it about the traditional kindergarten that you feel didnt suit your child? I will ask for the pie chart for sure!
