What is the min amount you can deposit for a business bank account. - any special terms and conditions

Around HK$1000 would be a good amount. If it is a sole proprietorship you will need business reg cert, HK ID/passport, proof of address as with any account. They have tightened up a lot recently so you may be asked for a reference also. If a Ltd Co you will need BRC, resolution to open an account, memorandum and articles of association etc.

Can anyone recommend a bank for business banking? HSBC personal banking sucks, so i'd hate to get the same experience with a corporate account. Has anyone had good/bad experiences with other banks (BEA, DBS, etc)?
