I'll answer as best i can:

1. Would probably think so, you just need to out an ad in Wellcome

2. People (both locals and western) do swim in the sea HOWEVER i only allow my kids to sit at the edge and paddle rather than swim in it BUT if you're moving to Gold Coast Phase 1 or 2 you have beautiful pools at your door step

3. There is a playgroup for under 20mths and becuase of the amount of stay at home Mums and playgrounds within the area there are alsways friends waiting to be made.

4. Apart from the bars/restaurants along the Marina there is the hotel, Beaulieu and Shan Tseng 10 mins down the road.

I've lived here for 10 years and have often comtemplated moving to Sai Kung but just can't do it, too nice here.

I would love to swim in that beach, and people do, but have to agree with toty on the safety of it. They have a bacteria count outside the life saving office and it is often registering in the unsafe zone.

We head all the way to Clear water bay for a dip when we feel the need. I would never swim in the beach here. We live on the top floor of a high rise and you can see the effluent seeping into the water and after a big rain it is horrible.
