im sitting in office for the whole day not walking here n there...but day by day i feel like my tummy is creasing i dont know wat how to loss my tummy and i am feeling very heavy on my tummy...can anyone help me how to loss my tummy?

You can't lose weight from one area - your body decides where it wants to lose from and sadly your tummy is often the last place. However if you do a mix of cardio and weights you will lose weight and if you focus on your tummy then you will build muscle in that area. Muscle burns calories faster than fat so its a cycle you just have to get started. A personal trainer is a great way to kick start things. Good luck.

thx for ur reply allynz but the problem for me is i really got no time of askin personal trainer coz till late nite im i office only then goin back 2 home so i really dont know wat to do...or is there like any other way to loss like slimming creams? does that really work out?

There is no quick fix. You would be surprised how late trainers at gyms work and some will come to your home. I too have virtually no time and amm desk bound but I booked in with the trainer and because I had to be there I made it - I didn't miss one and it gave me a great kickstart, I couldn't do it on my own. You could try Movers and Shapers - it just opened on Wyndham Street - I tried something similar a few years ago and liked it - some people think it is a croc but give it a go just for a laugh the first time - it only takes 10 minutes.

If you live in apartments, then walk the corridors and flights of staircase for a couple of times per week ( about 20 mins exercise).

My girlfriend recently did a detox programme for 5 days and it really helped kick start her diet by addressing that bloated feeling (especially around her tummy). Hey gals. I was saying in another thread that i've lost 4lbs in a week. just by eating health food and listening to my nutrientist. Sometimes, i wanna eat the things my nutrientist tell me DON"T EAT IT! but because i wanna loss the excess fat, i have to control myself.

I tried this and have lost 10 kilos in 4 months, with very little exercise as i work, dont eat carbs with meat and fish, and on days whereyou feel like carbs like rice or pasta dont eat meat and fish, cut out bread as much as possible, drink once a week and eat what you want as that will keep you sane, and the obvious no cakes, biscuits or savory foods only on your once a week break, and dont fry your food only grill, its worked for me and its the easiest diet ive been on, eat as much meat(as long as its fatless) and fill up on the veg(no potatos).

Your welcome, instead of bread for breakfast, try weatabix or cornflakes(no sugar) with low fat milk, or yogurt with fruit, like i said try to stay away from bread. salad with meat or fish is ok for lunch, its slimmers world diet.

aside from developing good eating habits, do invest only 20 minutes every other day doing pilates mat exercises.


you will end up not only with a flat tummy but your all-around maximum best figure. you'll have better posture, greater strength and increased energy.


it's really best to take classes with a certified trainer, at least a month or two worth of classes, then do it on your own. there are also several dvd's you could rent or buy. you don't need the equipment or accessories, just the commitment to set aside the time for yourself.


if you want lasting results, the only way is through a combination of good eating habits and exercise.

I say i dont exercise but i say that as i always used to excercise for 5 times a week 60 mins cardio each time , but now only 2x60 mins cardio so to me thats not much compaired to what i used to do 1 year ago.

I have an office job and I sit on my butt all day. The only exercise I do is Pilates (I used to use a DVD but I have memorised all the exercises) It pulls the stomach muscles in and lifts my butt up. I also have a bad back so it strengthens my back muscles which is really helpful. When I don't do Pilates every day, I do notice it.

Comparing to the result you get, i dont think its expensive. There are other places less expensive than that also. I've already recommend a place to you before which i think is not as expensive as Philip. But there are no places where you can do these kind of treatments in less amount!!

i tried the slimming pills in watsons but its useless doesnt work...waste of money....im just goin to gym daily now adays n im feelin much better in my tummy now but still i do have the tummy...lol...
