Fitted carpet cleaning

I have a fitted carpet in my living room and after three years of using carpet cleaners in a can, it is looking really grubby. Does anyone know of any professional carpet cleaning companies.

Do be sure to call ALL the carpet cleaners listed in the A-Z and DollarSaver - we found the prices varied greatly.


Also, only some do fitted carpets, not all.


We had our (not fitted) carpets cleaned (4 tibetan thick wool, old afghan style and a silk one)


I called 5 different companies for quotes. Some came to measure, and others used the measurements I gave them for the quote.


Chem-Dry was the lease expensive and very friendly. Not only that, I gave them the measurements based on the numbers I received from those that did the home visit - and when they returned the carpets and it was time to pay they informed me they were smaller than I told them and reduced the bill! Which means that the companies that came to quote 'overmeasured' my carpets!


Anyway, they did a great job, and we will use them again.
