Would appreciate any info re suitable hospitals and doctors. Will have private cover. Hope to have a natural birth. Someone suggested the Prince of Wales and go in as a private patient. Annie

If you have health insurance that will cover 100%, try Matilda or Adventist. Matilda is very pro-breast feeding, even though every hospital says they are, they seem to practice it more than some others.

For ante-natal classes - Annerley Midwifes

For OBGYN, there are many options, be sure to ask them their natural vs c-section rates and to discuss what you want to see if they are agreeable. Check the Pregnancy and Fertility threads for suggestions.

We use Dr Lam and would never change, but others like Dr Doo, Dr Dawkins, Dr Choy, Dr Lord, Dr Ferguson, etc....

on pregnancy thread - there is a woman who has a thread "would this be helpful" where she offers a compilation of many of the more "prestigious" doctors in HK, their telephone numbers and comments. It's very helpful to many women who are seeking out their docs. If you PM she'll send it to you.

If you need any information on the hospital please feel free to give me a call. No matter where you choose though please book early as most hospitals are very busy and booked up til July.
