Domestic Helper to Australia

I know this has been asked before and I am aware that it is probably still impossible to take a domestic helper back to Australia apart from the one month stay allowed if she accompanies us on holiday - which we have done several times.

So my situation is this - almost four children, same domestic helper for the past ten years in Hong Kong, part of the family and a primary care giver to all of my children since birth.

So now we decide that we have had enough of HK and want to return to Ausralia (we also have HK permanent id cards)

Do I have any hope in bringing her back with us?

I understand that the payment would have to be award rates, plus all the other taxes etc in Australia.

I am fairly confident that immigration will not allow it, perhaps I could sponser her some how.

If anyone has any ideas or knows of a way to allow it, I would be grateful.

Thanks

I would speak to the immigration department in Oz or an immigration llegal service. But i would assume she would need to follow the same 'points' system that others who want to migrate into australia have to follow. I think you need to show that you have a certain connection with the country ie. business, family etc and show that you can support yourself.
