baby has dark eye circles

will be one year in less than month, sleeps at least 14 hours a day, eats 3 solid balanced homemade meals with a daily snack of fruit and cheese.


so why does he have eye bags - is he not getting enough of something e.g. high energy foods?

Baby might have allergies. Sometimes the "eye circles" are known as "allergic shiners". Check with your doctor.

Just re-read your post ... your doctor will be hesitant to confirm allergies at 1 year. My daughter had the dark circles too and finally between ages 2-3 did the doctor start to confirm what I already knew. FYI, it wasn't anything she was eating. It's in the air/environment. I purchased a good air filter for her bedroom. This helped a lot as she is also an allergic asthmatic.
