My 10 month old has started grinding his teeth , he only
has 5 teeth but you can hear him doing it!
Has anybody experienced this and what can I do to stop him?

Both mine do it, they are 6 and 4 years old and it drives me and my husband up the wall.
The dentiat has advised me that when i hear them doing it, just gently poke them in the jaw area and this stops them. Otherwise it will have to be a mouth guard thingy when they are older.

My 8 month old did it too. Thought it might be the novelty of it. He was doing it for a couple of weeks and seems to have stopped recently (in the last couple of days).

My 9 month grinds hes teeth the whole day. I looked it up on the baby Centre website and they said it's very common and quite normal. It can only become a problem I think when they are older and start wearing their teeth down. Then a special mouthguard can be made by a dentist.

my baby did this at that age too, it only lasted a couple of months at most.
