Hi - We've got some items we'd like to donate to one of the local international charities but we need a man with van to help us deliver (not pack or unload!) the goods to either Tuen Mun or Yuen Long from Sai Kung. Anyone willing to do it free of charge? Thanks.

You could ask the charity to pick up the items, otherwise it's going to be hard to find someone willing to do it for free.

I donated a refridgerator to a charitable organisation somewhere in the TuUen Mun/Gold Coast area in November last year and I had to pay $250 for the delivery and loading onto the van. The organisation did not provide transport. I wish you luck.

Thanks marcus. Crossroads is in that area and they do pick up but have a waitlist of 8 weeks.

ED could have a list of all of the charities accepting donations; would be helpful since the question of where and how to donate pops up often here on xpat. I'll post this under a different thread too.

Waffle - if you're still reading this thread, do you have a website / phone number handy for them? If not, no worries. Running around here at the moment and little time to research. Cheers for the tip.
