Can anyone please tell me whether live telecast of the 2007 ICC Cricket World Cup will be available here in Hong Kong ? Will it be available on cable or will it be on NOW TV ? Thanks in advance.

Apparently nobody!! Only in HKG do you have such a ridiculous set up, where such a big event in which so many countries are participating is just going to be blanked out!! And it is called a "WORLD CITY"!! Atleast those who are interested in cricket should have a choice to be able to watch it!

Re the 'World City' comment above, if a TV network decides not to broadcast a major sporting event it has nothing to do with the city. In fact the same sort of thing has happened in places like Sydney & Melbourne when a certain TV channel pays a lot of money for the broadcasting rights with the sole intention of preventing a rival channel from broadcasting the event, when they themselves have no real intention to broadcast it anyway. Nothing to do with Sydney or Melbourne per se - just the principles (or lack of them) of the TV company. Having said that, I'm looking forward to (with fingers & toes crossed) seeing some of the cricket myself.
