Hi Folks, this may be a very simple question but it would save me some time if someone could advise me. I am in the process of starting an engineering consultancy business here in HK. What I need to know is, do I need to register the company first before I can get a bank account. If so where, roughly how much and how much hassle is it?? I would also appreciate any other tips related with this topic.
Many thanks

For a step-by-step guide, fees, etc. visit the Companies Registry, it probably has all the answers to your questions.

As for the bank, if you want to open a company account, you need to have a registered company first.

Cheers Guys for the advice, much appreciated. So far I have had a look at the government website and filled in the NCA1 form and have prepared my memorandum of "thingy". In regards to the accountants; can you recommend anyone??
Cheers
