Vaccine: Prevenar - result in high fever?

Is it true that this vaccine for Streptococcus pneumoniae will usually result in high fever? Parents, please share your experience, thanks.

i was told 5% who take it would develop fever.


thankfully mine didn't.

Ours got a mild fever the first two times we took him for innoculations, since then nothing. Baby parecetamol (the pink stuff the doctor gives you) and a night of sleep and all better!


In my opinion, even a high fever is way better than the diseases it protects against.

Ours only got mild fever which was easily managed with paracetamol.

Well, that sounds like a relief. Has anyone had your baby taken both the chicken pox vaccine & the Prevenar (one on each leg) on the same day? I was told that they have no conflict and I'm considering of doing so.
