We're from Oz, and about to buy our first car in HK. I brought over my child's carseat from oz, and unsure whether it would be appropriate for HK? In Oz, we had the hook at the back of the car which secured the child seat (as well as the belt securing it). Do cars have this hook here in HK, or is it just an Oz thing?
Also, baby number 2 is coming soon so deciding whether I should get a Maxi Cosi which would fit on my pram nicely (and free up some space in the boot). But it would only last 6 months - and I'll have to buy another carseat then. Is it worth it??! The reversible baby/child seat is probably better?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Not sure about bolting the seat in like Australia, we only have the seat belt variety.
Personally I'm a fan of the maxi cosi for those first few months, no need move a sleeping baby and although we have a car we do still use a taxi quite often, I felt better about having our babies in safely.
