Has anyone had your baby taken both the chicken pox vaccine & the Prevenar (one on each leg) on the same day? I was told that they have no conflict and I'm considering of doing so.

We did that, and no fever, nothing but a few tears and crying at time of injection.

I asked the doctor, and his response was - it is better to have all the shots in one go, and have one day of discomfort, than to spread them out and have more days of injections for baby. Made sense to us.

did also - I vaguely remember even one time having three in one day. THE US they often jab 3 in one day - and no problem.

Lots of vaccinations can be given at the same time (in fact most are combined vaccinations). Chickenpox and MMR are not given together as these are both live vaccinations, however chickenpox can be combined with any of the other vaccinations.

AVM, no problems. My daughter took 3 jabs in one day for her 2-month and 4-month vaccinations, then chickenpox and another jab at 1 year. we the parents were more traumatised than her, I can tell you. My only advice is to place a warm cloth over the jab sites when you return home to soothe the pain.

Thank you all for the info. I was just concerned of doubling the chance of getting a high fever.
