I am trying to locate children's foster care programs that need English-speaking volunteers to read to the kids or help them with homework.

Already contacted HK Welfare Society; no referrals were given.

There is an organisation seeking native/fluent English speakers to talk to primary school children from government-assisted families to improve their English. The school is situated in Ap Li Chau. Check the Ho-Sum web site.

Also check out the Agency for Volunteer Service which matches skills to needs.
