. . . that the Queen Mary (the biggest cruise liner in the world) which is currently berthed in the container port 'cos it's too big for Ocean terminal, is leaving HK tonight at 7pm and will sail through the harbour. Does anyone know if this is fact or fiction?

Thanks

More likely to be fact as it docked this morning at 7.30 am. To be on the safe side call the HK Tourist Board to confirm the time it is leaving.

Fact, at least according to the Cunard web site.

The Marine Dept has it berthed in Kwai Chung and listed as sailing at 7pm tonight.

Thanks vm.

Have subsequently found out that it's definitely on. Leaves at 7pm and will cruise through the harbour at 8pm to coincide with the light show.

Although the FotS is the largest cruise ship, the QM2 is the largest transatlantic liner, which is what it was built for. [ok... semantics]
