If you leave HK to go with your husband when he is transferred you still need to start from scratch no matter what else you do.

To get your PR you need to reside in HK for 7 continuous years, no matter what status your husband is. Even if you leave HK for only a year or two you will need to start from scratch I'm afraid. BTW I looked into this for myself.
