Well it's not on the Panasonic HK website, but I guess you know that. This could mean that it doesn't sell it here. Did you call them to ask? What did they say?
I had heard that Panasonic breadmakers are the best (consumer reports) so perhaps the limited consumer market is the factor.

Best try is to source from the Japanese dept stores, like Sogo Causeway which has a Panasonic showroom.

Cyberport has an electronics shop that stocks a variety of Panasonic items - maybe call them?

Re: deleted website. The question was where to buy a panasonic breadmaker...
Also if expats want deals we prefer to direct them to our Trading Post which receives 200+ new ads/day.

Have you tried at Ninki Denki?

Was in Sogo at the weekend so popped into the Panasonic showroom. The salespeople said that Panasonic hasn't sold its breadmakers in HK for some three years. You might need to order from overseas.

I would imagine there is market forces - a lack of demand. The vast majority of the HK population are not regular bread eaters - and those who do eat it think the fluffy white cotton wool-style stuff is "bread". In the Panasonic showroom I saw rows of rice cookers which are geared to the local market.
In the UK, folks eat bread but there are sufficient numbers who want home-made bread, as they want to know what it's made of, to make it worth while.

Ditto dizzydog, the same Kenwood model, got it in Fortress TungChung 4 months back. Very impressed, my mother's been using a Kenwood in the UK for the last 5 years no probs at all.
The 'Malted Fruit Loaf' recipe is an absolute winner!
