Have you done a 'local move' search here? I know the search facility is slow on Practical these days but you will (eventually) see heaps of posts that should help

I did do a search and it said "nothing found"??? I will try again.

Ed, I don't think the Man With A Van would not be large enough as we are moving a full large flat.

hongkongdebbie, if you haven't already found someone then it's worth trying the search function again. When I typed the words "local move" 20 threads came up. But I got timed out twice... Ed, following on from my question about a week ago, is something going on with Search in Practical as it's taking a l-o-n-g time these days?

I dont think you would have been banned for that - we would only remove the link - we have designated 2 movers (one man with a van and one major mover) as our exclusive movers.


They supported us for many years when the others would not give us the time of day... therefore we prefer that our decision be respected and other movers not be promoted here.
