If you've only just moved (Welcome!) then you probably don't have babysitting facilities in place yet, but if you can get yourself down to Poet's in Sai Kung on a Friday or Saturday evening then you will probably meet up with a couple of delightful German/Asian couples - and other good people - from your area who use that bar. I'm sure that if you introduce yourselves to the owner you'll be made to feel very welcome.
(BTW, I should add that I just pop in there now and again and have no commercial interest in the establishment.)

While I am not German, I have met several who live in Clearwater Bay. They are definitely around.
